Editorial Storyteller - GMID goes virtual

GMID goes virtual was a project that took place when Covid had stopped in-person events taking place.

The goal was to get into the Guiness Book of Records by holding the largest virtual event in the world. In the end, we had 8,000 people who attended which was a record in its own right.

This was a collaborative team project, where everyone provided their time as a volunteer.

My work was as an editorial storyteller working behind the scenes, prepping speakers, testing tech for audience engagement, developing intro and outro scripts for hosts and creating the run of show.
